Twooshness is live Tuesday July 14, 2009
My first single-serving twitter app Twooshness is live and it Works For Me, so check it out. It uses Twitter’s API to calculate your percentage of tweets that are exactly 140 characters.
I learned many valuable lessons launching this domain, chief among these that it’s dead easy to go from an idea to a hosted application on dreamhost as long as you don’t use their mysql instance. The approach for twooshness was to use client cookies for data storage.
I’m going to produce some more single-serving twitter apps soon, I have an idea for at least one more.
